The most amazing love story ever (at least to me!)
Date: September 15, 2022
It was a typical Tuesday morning, and I was running late for work (as usual). I rushed into "Java Joe's" - my regular coffee spot - and ordered my usual large coffee with extra cream. But here's where it gets interesting...
As I was rushing out, I literally bumped into this beautiful girl with curly brown hair. My coffee went EVERYWHERE - all over her white sweater! I was mortified. I kept apologizing and offering to pay for dry cleaning, but she just laughed it off.
"It's okay," she said with the sweetest smile. "I never liked this sweater anyway." That's when I knew she was special.

I couldn't stop thinking about Coffee Shop Girl (I didn't even know her name yet!). So I did something crazy - I went back to Java Joe's every day that week, hoping to see her again.
Finally, on Friday, there she was! I walked up to her table (she was reading a book about gardening) and introduced myself properly. "Hi, I'm Mike - the coffee spiller from Tuesday."
She laughed and said, "I'm Sarah. And don't worry, the sweater survived." We talked for two hours! I found out she works at the library and loves old movies. When I asked for her number, my hands were literally shaking.

Our first official date was at the local mini golf course. I know, I know - not very original. But Sarah said she loved mini golf, so I went with it.
I was terrible at mini golf (still am), but Sarah was amazing! She got two holes-in-one. Instead of making fun of me, she gave me putting tips. We laughed so much that other people were staring at us.
After mini golf, we went for ice cream. Sarah got mint chocolate chip (my favorite too - it was meant to be!). We sat on a bench in the park and talked until the sun went down. I knew I was falling for her.

Halloween night - we went to a costume party together. I dressed as a vampire (classic), and Sarah was a witch (but the prettiest witch ever). During a slow dance to "Unchained Melody," I finally got the courage to ask her to be my girlfriend.
She said yes! Right there on the dance floor, surrounded by people in ridiculous costumes. It was perfect.
Today's Date: December 15, 2023
Sarah and I have been together for over a year now, and I fall in love with her more every day. She's moved in with me (well, technically I moved in with her because her apartment is bigger), and we're talking about getting a dog together!
She still teases me about spilling coffee on her, and I still can't beat her at mini golf. But that's okay - I wouldn't change a thing about our story.
The moral of the story: Sometimes the best things happen when you're running late and spill coffee on a stranger. You never know where life will take you!
